Image Bank Sweden is Sweden’s official image bank. The service is free of charge and the various subject categories make it easy to find whatever you are looking for. New images are constantly being added to the bank.
“Thank You Sweden” is a slide show describing some of Sweden’s most famous innovations through the years – mobile telephony, pacemakers, ballbearings, Skype etc. The slide show is available in English, Korean, Portuguese and Swedish (to download, right-click, select “save link as…”). Other language versions due for publication shortly: German, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Russian.
“Sweden – Future in Mind” is a slide show that describes present-day Sweden with the aid of photographs, film clips, texts and music. The slide show offers subtitles in English, German, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Portuguese.
“Sweden – Open Skies, Open Minds” is a short film produced in 2007 to awaken interest in Sweden. It contains views of Sweden and the Swedes, and makes a suitable introduction to a presentation.
