The Visby Program – Swedish Institute's Baltic Sea Region Exchange Program
The Baltic region plays an important role for Sweden’s growth. The Visby Program serves to connect participants in order to strengthen Sweden’s presence and promote education, research and innovation in the Baltic region. The program is open to universities and university colleges as well as high schools and institutions for adult education, and encompasses every field of study. Priority is given to collaboration with Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.
Types of financial aid in the Visby program
SI provides three different types of financial aid in the Visby Program: project funding, individual grants and grants for short-term visits.

Innovative ICT – networking in the Baltic Sea Region
The Swedish Institute Visby Program is arranging a seminar in Stockholm, Sweden 27 – 29 October, in cooperation with the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences. The purpose of the seminar is to establish contacts and networks within the field of ICT and will include participants and presentations from among others Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Sweden and Ukraine.
