The Swedish Institute leadership programs

The Swedish Institute leadership programs aim to create new relations and lasting, active networks with potential new leaders throughout the world. SI currently has three leadership programs — one program for young opinion leaders in the Middle East and North Africa, a Management program for leaders in the business and private sectors in Europe, China and India, and one program targeting young female leaders.

The Swedish Institute Young Leaders Visitors Program

The Swedish Institute Young Leaders Visitors Program (YLVP) combines intercultural leadership training with theory and practice in the fields of transparency, democracy and human rights. The program invites young leaders from Sweden and selected countries in the MENA region who are actively working for social change in their respective contexts. Cutting-edge social media solutions are used throughout the program, as tools for learning and for building networks that promote dialogue, knowledge sharing and openness.

The Swedish Institute Management Program

The Swedish Institute Management Program focuses on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and aims to build a strong network between executive leaders in the participating countries. Together they can strengthen relations and business cooperation between the participating countries, as well as learn more how to integrate social and environmental concerns in the business models.

She Entrepreneurs

She Entrepreneurs addresses young women social entrepreneurs in selected countries in the Middle East and North Africa: Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Morocco and West Bank-Gaza. The Swedish Institute aims to give the participants innovative tools for sustainable change while seeking to create a network of women change makers in the region. Focused on driven young women, She Entrepreneurs will offer inspiration and knowledge as well as build networks between Sweden and the countries involved.
