The Swedish Institute (SI) is now inviting applicants to apply for the next program of the Young Leaders Visitors Program (YLVP)
The Swedish Institute Young Leaders Visitor Program is opening the application process YLVP (Young Leaders Visitors Program) for young opinion leaders from Sweden, the Middle East and North Africa.
The Swedish Institute Young Leaders Visitors Program (YLVP) is an intercultural leadership program that focuses on social media as a tool for positive change. The program invites young opinion-makers from Sweden and selected countries in the MENA region who are actively working for social change in their respective contexts. By strengthening and connecting influential voices The Swedish institutes aim is to lay the foundation for a long-lasting and mutually rewarding relationship between Sweden and the MENA-region.
The primary goal with the program is to build a professional network of young unconventional active opinion leaders, in the Middle East, North Africa and Sweden, that promotes exchange of knowledge and creativity and helps to strengthen young opinion builders leadership ability to work actively for social change on issues related to democracy and human rights.
The Swedish institute is now reaching out to young determined visionaries who are covering social developments in their countries and working for a positive change!
Eligibility
Young opinion leaders who are actively working for democracy and human rights within areas of culture, society, industry and politics: journalists, bloggers, artists, activists, project managers, youth leaders in political parties, politicians, government officials, lawyers, teachers, researchers.
Countries: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia and Sweden.
Age: 20-35 years, with good English skills, both in writing and in speech.
