– As I am studying in a small city, the only way to get in contact with the Swedish language was to attend the Internet course. I soon realized that I had nothing to be jealous of compared to other language courses that I had attended in the past.
The material was sufficient, detailed and easily understood, the web site easy to use, the oral parts made me more familiar with the pronunciation and my teacher was helpful and interested in my progress and possible problems with the course. The most important parts, according to my opinion, were the elements concerning Swedish culture, literature and way of life. Receiving such information is the best way to approach a foreign language and country.

– I have recently completed step one of the web course which is offered by the Swedish Institute via the Internet. I have had a very positive experience while participating in this course.
The information provided to students is very useful and I have learned a great deal in a short time regarding the Swedish language. The grammar lessons, written and oral exercises, as well as all of the other information included in this program are very "user friendly". I have learned much about grammar, sentence structure, vocabulary and pronunciation. Having the ability to "chat" with my instructor Kristina Noren and with other students was invaluable. Kristina was always available to assist with questions and was very helpful during our numerous conversations. Also helpful were the conversations with other students learning Swedish. It is obvious much work has gone into creating this course!!
I look forward with great anticipation to beginning Svenska Global Steg 2!! I continue to work with the course materials which I have printed out and with the pronunciation CD in the meantime.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is serious about learning the Swedish language!!
