Lingu@net World Wide is an EU Commission funded project, taking the award winning Lingu@net Europa site one step further.

Lingu@net World Wide is a multilingual online resource centre for foreign language learning. The site provides information about, and links to good online resources from around the world relating to the learning and teachning of any language.

Lingu@net World Wide also offers support for adult learners on how to learn a language, how to assess your level and how to communicate with other learners online.

Lingu@net World Wide offers:

Over 4,000 resources — many of them especially for adult language learners.

32 access languages — Arabic, Basque, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, Galician, German, Greek, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russain, Slovak, Slovene, Spanish and Swedish.

On-line guidance and advice for adult learners in the sections researched and written for the project:

  • What's your level — where learners can analyse their language skills and find ways to assess them
  • Ways to learn — where learners (and potential learners) can find new ways to learn langauges and keep motivated, including tips and success stories from throughout Europe
  • Meeting point — to help learners communicate
  • Search for learning materials

Lingu@net World Wide is maintained by a consortium of organisations from Europe and beyond. The Swedish Institute is one of the 34 organisations involved.
