Digital communication
With the digital channels at our disposal, we can establish a credible and positive image of Sweden in the eyes of visitors. Also, by being innovative and using the latest technology in our digital communication, we help create an image of Sweden as a country at the cutting edge.
Sweden.se – Sweden’s official website
Sweden.se is Sweden’s official website, directed at target groups abroad and marketing Sweden both by highlighting Swedish priority issues and by other means. Sweden.se is an important tool in the task of developing a new, modern image of Sweden. Visitors can find information on the site but can also acquire a sense of what Sweden and Swedish values are like before coming here.
The designers of Sweden.se are constantly experimenting in their bid to communicate with target groups in the best possible way – 360 degree panoramic images, music streaming, films in HD quality, blogs and representation in social media. Sweden.se has its own applications for Facebook and the Iphone. We are also on Flickr and Twitter and are keeping our ears to the ground in search of new digital forums.
Sweden.se is the hub in a profile program that embraces more than a hundred websites and is designed to present a common Swedish face to the world – to present the Sweden brand. Behind this portal are the organizations that make up the Council for the Promotion of Sweden (NSU) – the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Industry, Employment and Communications, the Swedish Trade Council, Invest Sweden, VisitSweden, and the Swedish Institute. SI has been responsible for the maintenance and development of the portal since it was launched in 2002.
