Global environment analysis an important tool for assessing Sweden’s relationships
For the Swedish Institute (SI), global environment analyses are of crucial importance. They provide a basis for our work and help us to take the right actions in pursuit of Sweden’s international goals.
SI’s prime task is to facilitate the establishment of lasting relationships and cooperation with other countries. To stand a chance of reaching our target groups, we need to know as much as possible about them – and about both their image of Sweden and how committed they are to working with global issues of importance for the future.
To make it easier for us to arrive at well-founded decisions and to improve our ability to approach our target groups in the best possible way, SI undertakes global environment and target group analyses on an ongoing basis. In monitoring the global environment, we employ a wide range of tools to collect, analyze and evaluate intelligence of value to us in our dealings with the world.
Besides our analyses of Sweden’s image, we also monitor Sweden’s position in relevant indexes and how Sweden as a country is portrayed in international media.
