Call for Creative Force project proposals
SI is currently accepting applications for projects in the cultural sector promoting transparency and democratic structures within the framework of the Creative Force initiative. This call refers to cooperation with the Western Balkans, Georgia, Ukraine and Belarus. Call in progress January 18 to March 1.

“I feel I’m really worth something!”
Lirije Gjana at the new center for children with disabilities in Albania was so inspired by the course provided by Share Music in Kukës that she plans to organize a similar workshop herself. The center’s partner will be ALB-AID, an organization that promotes the rights of mine victims in Albania.
Literary congress for freedom of expression
The Swedish Writers’ Union is working with Bilgi University in Istanbul to prepare the WALTIC writers’ congress. The organizing committee in Istanbul includes Turkish authors, translators and publishers, plus a member of the Turkish PEN Center.
